The NREF Cushing Bowl
The Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) congratulates Wake Forest – winners of the third annual Cushing Bowl.
The annual event, held during the AANS Annual Scientific Meeting, brings residency programs from around the country together to fundraise, build community and encourage friendly competition.
This year’s Cushing Bowl raised over $41,000 to further NREF’s mission of advancing neurosurgical research and education.

Congratulations to the Medical College of Georgia – winners of the second annual Cushing Bowl.
In 2023, neurosurgical programs from around the country participated in the contest and raised over $16,000 to further NREF’s mission.
Thank you to everyone that made a donation, answered daily trivia questions or showed support for their team via social media.
