Scientific Meeting
Visit the NREF team at the 2026 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, May 1-4, 2026 to learn about the Foundation’s courses, grants and fellowship programs. While there, make a donation in the Cushing Bowl. All proceeds benefit NREF programs.
Charity Softball Tournament
Save the Date! The 21st Annual Neurosurgery Charity Softball Tournament, hosted by Columbia University, will be held June 6, 2026 in New York City’s Central Park. Proceeds benefit brain tumor research through NREF.

Van Wagenen Hockey Tournament
Join us for the 3rd Annual Van Wagenen Hockey Tournament from January 25th-26th in Minneapolis, MN, hosted by the former Van Wagenen fellows. Last year’s event was a huge success, with over 50 players competing for the championship title. Net proceeds from the event support the continuation of the Van Wagenen Fellowship program.
