Martin M. Kiriinya

Dr. Martin M. Kiriinya recently completed his neurosurgery training, including a one-year fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery, at the University of Cape Town.

The A. Leland Albright Honor Your Mentor Fund through NREF has been instrumental in supporting his training with consistent annual financial support over the last several years.

Dr. Kiriinya met Prof. Albright in 2013 at Kijabe Hospital in Kenya as a medical student and after a two-week rotation with him in pediatric neurosurgery, he developed interest and began his journey in neurosurgery. Dr. Albright has since then advised, mentored and supported Dr. Kiriinya throughout his training.
