Regis Haid Leadership Fund
Fund Purpose: To support leadership development and executive training, education and coaching for neurosurgeons at all stages of their careers.
In cooperation with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Neurosurgery Education & Research Foundation (NREF) is committed to providing educational training in topic areas not always covered within neurosurgical residency.
Thanks to our valued individual donors and corporate supporters, the NREF has funded over ninety (90) courses attended by more than 2,000 members, with thousands more viewing presentations online.
At the 2026 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in San Antonio, NREF will present the Regis Haid Leadership Symposium – an opportunity to learn from leading experts that contribute directly to meaningful progress in neurosurgery. Luminaries from across organized neurosurgery will bring their wisdom, talent, and expertise to this special presentation offering attendees valuable insight and practical solutions as they navigate the professional challenges of our specialty and the medical profession at large.
